Product Description
WANNATE TL-75E is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate (TDI), presented as a colorless to slightly yellow liquid with a solvent odor at room temperature. It is supplied at approximately 75% concentration in ethyl acetate. With an equivalent weight of approximately 315 and a density (at 20°C) of approximately 1.17g/ml, WANNATE TL-75E contains isocyanate (-NCO) groups ranging from 12.9% to 13.7%. It is dilutable with esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, and xylene, demonstrating good miscibility with these solvents.
Application Fields
WANNATE TL-75E serves primarily as a curing agent component in two-component polyurethane coatings or adhesives. When used as a raw material for laminating adhesives, it offers excellent performance and is safer and more environmentally friendly, finding applications in snack packaging bags, composite films, car covers, laundry detergent packaging bags, and other fields.
Product Characteristics
- Low Free Monomer Content: WANNATE TL-75E boasts a free monomer content below 0.50%, significantly lower than relevant national standards, reducing potential environmental and health hazards.
- Excellent Chemical Resistance: Products formulated with WANNATE TL-75E exhibit outstanding chemical resistance, oil resistance, and heat resistance.
- Good Transparency: Applications utilizing WANNATE TL-75E impart good transparency to the finished products.
Product Packaging
WANNATE TL-75E is typically packaged in 225kg drums or 20kg iron drums, with custom packaging options available based on customer-specific requirements.
Storage Conditions
WANNATE TL-75E should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. As it is flammable, measures to prevent electrostatic adsorption must be taken, and the containers should remain sealed. Additionally, WANNATE TL-75E should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, bases, alcohols, food chemicals, and other incompatible materials. The recommended storage temperature is between 0°C and 30°C; high-temperature storage may lead to increased viscosity. Under proper storage conditions, WANNATE TL-75E has a shelf life of at least 6 months.
