Specifications:
Product details
Physical and chemical properties: milky white liquid
Packaging: Plastic or iron drum
Main application: Mainly used in water-based two-component polyurethane coatings, it can also be used in combination with amino resins or blocked isocyanates for water-based one component baking coatings
Storage precautions
Appropriate container
A can or bucket lined with metal.
Plastic bucket.
Porous liner bucket.
Pack according to the manufacturer's recommended method.
Check all containers to ensure clear labels and no leaks.
For low viscosity substances
Top non removable buckets and simple cans must be used.
When the can is used for inner packaging, it must have a screw fixed outer shell.
For substances with a viscosity of not less than 2680 cSt (23 ℃) and a solid state at temperatures between 15 ℃ and 40 ℃, the following can be used:
The top packaging can be removed;
Friction sealed cans and
Low pressure pipes and cylinders.
-
When using composite packaging and the inner packaging is made of glass material, there must be sufficient inert cushioning material at the contact between the inner and outer packaging.
-
In addition, when the inner packaging material is glass and contains liquids in Class I and Class II packaging, it must be filled with inert adsorbent material to adsorb any possible leaks.
-
*Unless the outer packaging is a tightly pressed molded plastic box and the contents are compatible with plastic.
According to the inhalation toxicity standards, substances that have been designated as Class I or Class II packaging must have their inner packaging and bottom plate strictly sealed.
Storage prohibition
Aromatic rings can undergo violent reactions when in contact with strong oxidants, and sometimes even cause explosions.
Aromatic compounds can undergo exothermic reactions with bases and diazo compounds.
Avoid cross contamination between the two liquid parts of the product (set).
If the two parts of the product are not mixed or mixed together in the proportion recommended by the manufacturer, gel polymerization and exothermic reaction may occur.
Overheating may produce toxic vapors.
Avoid reacting substances with water, alcohols, strong bases, metal compounds, or detergent solutions. The substance can react with water and produce a large amount of foam and carbon dioxide, which can release heat. Foaming in confined spaces can cause pressure
Increase. Isocyanates can corrode and embrittlement certain plastics and rubbers.
The exothermic decomposition reaction of isocyanates releases 20-30 kilojoules per mole. The relationship between heat release and material processing hazards has been discussed: it has been proposed that heat release should be based on the amount of heat released per unit weight
(joules/gram) should not be measured in terms of the amount of heat released per mole. For example, in "open container systems" (industrial facilities with manhole sized openings), decomposition heat release below 500 joules per gram is generally not hazardous
Sex; However, in a "closed container system" (with safety valves or explosion-proof plates at the opening), if the heat released during decomposition exceeds 150 joules per gram, it poses a certain level of danger. BRETHERICK L: Handbook of Active Chemical Hazards
